I love the Internet, I think it’s mankind’s greatest achievement. Tim Berners-Lee is my hero.

My favourite book is Wiffle Lever to Full, by the lovely Bob Fischer – if you’re a cult TV fan then it’ll probably become your favourite too. I’m also a big fan of Patrick O’Brien, Terry Pratchett, Warren Ellis’ Transmetropolitan series and Mike Mignola’s Hellboy novels.

In the televisual world, there’s only Mythbusters, Top Gear and Doctor Who of the new stuff. Classic series like Yes (Prime)Minister, The (New) Avengers, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin and many others are much more my cup of tea.

I can’t tell you which is my favourite Doctor, it’s a tie between Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee, Patrick Troughton and Peter Davison.

My music taste is best described as eclectic, everything from early Metallica (when they still thrashed) to Bethoven, I also love Joni Mitchell and Blondie.

If I could only have one song for the rest of my life I’d choose “Judgement of the Moon and Stars (Ludwig’s Theme)” by Joni.
