Everest.

She’s already in the foothills of the Himalayas, doing practice jumps and getting acclimatised to the extreme environment. This act of insanity is raising money and awareness of the low percentage of girls in IT, a cause close to my heart.

As of today I am officially a freelance website designer, with the launch of my own company (and website) Binary Ink.

Binary Ink is a carbon balanced company (naturally) and I’ll be donating a portion of my profits from each project to one of three major charities.

I’ve been a fan of values-led business for a while, so supporting Oxfam, the World Land Trust and the Woodland Trust is just the beginning.

I have to thank my family and my fiancé for their support, and Kate Craig-Wood for hunting me down and making me believe I could do it.
