Children’s charity, EveryChild are the newest addition to our bespoke SEO client list and we’re very pleased to have them aboard.

We asked Nicola Moore, EveryChild’s Corporate and Events Fundraiser, to tell us a bit more about the invaluable work they do for vulnerable children worldwide.

We work with communities, local organisations and with government partners in over 15 countries worldwide to bring about lasting and positive change to vulnerable children’s lives.
Our focus is on children who not only suffer from extreme poverty but are also growing up alone, without adult care. With over 20 years’ experience in child protection we work in three ways; prevention, protection and reintegration.
We work within communities to keep families together and prevent children from growing up alone. We also support specialised crisis support to protect children who are alone and at risk of being exploited. We also work towards reintegrating children back into safe and secure family environments.
We work in South America, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa where the need is greatest.

If you’d like to find support EveryChild, you can sponsor a child, give a one-off or monthly donation, or just find out more on their website; www.everychild.org.uk

She’s performing this act of insanity to raise awareness of the issues facing women in the technology sector, and to raise money for Computer Clubs for Girls who are working to encourage the next generation of girl geeks.

Green IT entrepreneur, and all-round good egg, Kate Craig-Wood is featured in the Sunday Times today (30th March).

As founder and MD of Memset, the first Carbon Neutral hosting company, Kate is a pioneer in the field of “green technology” and works behind the scenes to encourage girls and women into IT.

In an exclusive with the Times, Kate takes the brave step of discussing her experience of life before and during gender reassignment, in the hope of dispelling negative preconceptions and acting as a role model for the many people suffering in silence.

I recently had the pleasure of providing graphic and website design services for Kate’s personal site kate.craig-wood.com.
