The decade described by Christian Dior as “the golden age” of fashion will be celebrated at the V&A from 22nd September 2007 through to the 6th January 2008 in the exhibition “The Golden Age of Couture: Paris and London 1947- 1957″.

A number of Dior pieces will be on display, along with Balenciaga, Givenchy and other names whose attention to detail and quality became the benchmark for haute couture.
